Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that run Flaught for us, for example email, hosting, database, and AI model providers. The Subprocessors page lists them. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Storage outside New Zealand
Some of our service providers store or process data outside New Zealand, for example in Australia or the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information in a way that is comparable to the Privacy Act, and we stay responsible for the information they hold for us.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until Flaught opens to you and you choose not to continue, or until you ask us to remove them.
- Account and service data: while you are a customer, then up to 30 days so you can export it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- Website technical data: up to 12 months.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable hosting to protect personal information. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the Privacy Commissioner and the people affected as soon as we can.
